WETLANDS The Town of Lewisboro Wetlands Ordinance, Chapter 217 of the Town Code is administered through the Town’s Planning Boardt which reviews and approves applications, including violations actions where civil penalties (fines) may be imposed relating to activities within or impacting wetlands, ponds, lakes, watercourses, and the surrounding lands within 150 feet of such areas. The Town’s Wetlands Inspector, Bruce Barber has office hours at the Planning Office, Onatru Farm, 99 Elmwood Road, South Salem on Thursdays. Call Mrs. Hodges at the Planning office, 914-763-5592 to make an appointment. Other related activities are performed by the Town’s Conservation Advisory Council, (link) and Stormwater Management Committee.
