Notes from Town Board meeting held on March 8, 2010:

Under public comment period the Board heard from a resident regarding a highway easement issue.

The Board heard a letter of commendation to the Highway Department staff for all their efforts during recent snow storms.

Under the consent agenda format the Board approved the minutes of the December 3 and December 10, 2009 Board meetings, accepted departmental reports, authorized the closing of Town offices to the public for Records Management Day on March 19, authorized an extended lunch hour for an employee function, authorized the Supervisor to sign a consulting agreement and also authorized the Supervisor to attend a meeting of the New York Government Finance Officers Association.

In other business the Board reviewed a proposed intermunicipal agreement and reviewed the Town’s financial situation.  The Supervisor noted that the Town’s credit rating has been downgraded to AA from AA+.  The Board also discussed Town Board projects and a plan to manage the projects.

Upcoming Board meetings will be held on Monday, March 22 and Monday, April 12.  A work session will be held on Monday, April 5. All meetings will be held in the Lewisboro Library starting at 7:30 p.m.
