Laws and Ordinances

The Town of Lewisboro's laws and ordinances are codified in a volume known as the Code of the Town of Lewisboro. Laws including the Alcoholic Beverage Law, Bingo, Boats and Boating, Building Construction, Unsafe Buildings, Cabarets, Dogs, Excavations, Garbage Rubbish and Refuse, Littering, Noise, Peddling and Soliciting, Signs, Subdivision of Land, Trees, Vehicle and Traffic, Wetlands and Watercourse, and Zoning.

Peter Barrett, the Building Inspector, enforces the building and zoning laws. The Town Clerk, Kathleen Cory enforces the dog control law, cabaret, alcoholic beverages , garbage and peddling laws.
