Feral cats are considered part of the indigenous wildlife of this area.
The SPCA on North State Road in Briarcliff will take feral cats for spaying/neutering only, and then they will be returned to the party bringing them in for return to the wild.
The charge for spaying is $50, neutering is $35. The cats will be examined, given a rabies shot and the ear will be notched to indicate that they are part of a feral colony.
