Brownell Preserve

Brownell Preserve

The Brownell Preserve is owned by the Town of Lewisboro. It was a gift from the Brownell family to be used for passive recreation. In 1997 Scouts Danny Petre and Terry McNicholas created the marked trails and built a kiosk. The 2.2 mile loop trail covers heavily forested, hilly terrain and then follows the path of a stream running along the northern boundary. There are scenic views across to Lake Katonah and beyond.
