Background
CityScape is working with the Town of Lewisboro as part of the Northern Westchester County Wireless Telecommunications Infrastructure Master Plan Wireless Study (being paid for by Westchester County).
To further inform its Wireless Master Plan Study, CityScape prepared a Wireless Infrastructure Preference Poll, which asked respondents who live and work in Lewisboro to provide information about their wireless service and preferences for wireless infrastructure to improve it.
Additional feedback and to get more involved
If you have further feedback or you are interested in getting more involved in the effort to improve Lewisboro's wireless communications and our broadband internet, the Lewisboro Antenna Advisory Board (AAB) would like to hear from you.
The AAB's responsibilities were recently expanded from wireless communication facilities to include fiber optic and other similar technology used for voice communication, data services and streaming.
We are looking forward to improving Lewisboro’s communications infrastructure and enhancing the connectivity of our residents, workers, and visitors. The COVID-19 pandemic has made clear that working and learning from home with high-speed internet access and reliable cellular coverage is now even more of a necessity for the town’s residents. This is also critical to keep Lewisboro viable as a place to live and work in the future.
The AAB remains open to learning from residents about your stories and challenges in the area of wireless and broadband communications. Examples include: Are you able unable to forego a landline due to gaps in cell coverage? How is your broadband provider handling your work-, learn-from-home, or telehealth needs? What have been your experiences with emergency service communications in town?
